A long time……..

It has been a long time since I have posted. My resolution was to try to post at least once a month. Ah….. time keeps on slipping into the future. My intentions are good. So much has changed for us this last year. The studio has survived the economic downturn. We are still here! Yeah!! We love what we do and hope to keep changing with the times. New products on the horizon are iphone covers with personalized with your photos. Tell us what you would like to see. I have not kept this website up to date because I have been busy helping others keep theirs up to date. I know excuses, excuses, my bad.

Classes in Photoshop

Photoshop classes from 7pm to 9pm at Alain Tomatis Photography Studio on the Skyway will start April 13th on Wednesday nights. The classes will cost $25 each, limited to 5 students. Photoshop Elements Class

For those of you who own a Mac, I will be teaching a basic Photoshop Elements Class for the Mac Users Club called MacChug. It will start at 7:30Pm. The club has some awesome raffles for incredible prices. There is a beginners class for those new to the Mac at 6:30pm, membership is not required to attend and VISITORS are WELCOME! at the Masonic Family Center located at 1110 W. East Ave Chico CA.

Then starting on April 6th on Wednesday nights I will teach Photoshop classes from 7pm to 9pm at Alain Tomatis Photography Studio on the Skyway. Photoshop classes to begin in March. I’m thinking of either teaching them on a week night around 7pm. Which night works best for most people? Let me know. I also do one on one tutoring to help you with a variety of computer challenges you might be having. The Photoshop classes will Be $25 per person for a 2 hour class with a minimum of 4 people, and a maximum of 10. One on one tutoring is $40 an hour. Contact me for more information. Last night’s class at our studio went well. Thanks to those who could attend. We covered some basics on resolution for print and the web. We also went over some basic image enhancements that help make your digital images pop. The next class will be in two weeks on Photoshop Layer techniques and why layers are so empowering, will including masking techniques.

Digital Enhancement and Photo Optimization Class

As promised classes will finally start next Wednesday the 30th at 7pm at the studio on the Skyway. The first class will cover how to size and optimize digital photographs for the web and email. I will also cover basic photo enhancement techniques in Photoshop. The class will run approximately an hour and a half to two hours max. Questions please email.
